The ACLU is full of hypocrisy and lies. Their selectiveness of cases reveals that they rarely protect the common interests of the average American. Most of their work is destructive, dangerous, and perilous to America.

Case in Point: A newly appointed convenience store manager was visited by a sales representative and periodicals distributor. The sales agent was attempting to sell a variety of new products that the company was offering to its customers…including a number of pornographic magazines. The manager was not interested in the porn magazines because he favored strong family values that build strong societies. His store was family oriented and thus incompatible with selling pornography. Therefore, he placed his regular order of magazines and passed over the smut. Two days later he was astonished to receive a phone call from a local lawyer. He was informed that his refusal to order smut magazines was a clear violation of the free speech rights guaranteed by the First Amendment of the Constitution. He was then threatened with a law suit by the ACLU. The manager thought that he could stock whatever he wanted in his store; hence, he told the attorney that he would see him in court. It never went to court. The manager was immediately fired by the fearful corporate office in order to avoid a nasty lawsuit. Even though the corporate office could win in a court of law, they took the low road and fired the manager!

This case is only one of hundreds in which the ACLU is involved on a daily basis…in the name of protecting our civil liberties, our freedoms, and what is good for us as American citizens! They know what is best for us! Really? Our freedoms are being methodically stripped from us a little each day. This reminds me of the “frog” who jumped into a pot of warm water…not knowing that the water had a fire underneath…that would soon take its life! The people in the ACLU are a bunch of nincompoops. Period! They are hell-bent on war to any American who has principles, morals, and values.

A woman was prevented from beginning an innovative, federally funded program to teach illiterate adults to read…because the classes would have been taught in a church building. An ACLU attorney called her and threatened an injunction against her because her program constituted an unconstitutional establishment of religion.

A family in Minnesota is currently facing financial ruin because they are being sued by the ACLU in a lawsuit for discriminatory business practices. The crime? They refused to rent their house to an unmarried couple because of their Christian beliefs. The family’s personal conviction is…They believe that sex before marriage is a sin.Over the past few years, the ACLU has attempted to halt the singing of Christmas carols in public places, deny tax-exempt status for churches, put an end to all military and prison chaplains, eliminate all Christian scenes and symbols from public property, prohibit voluntary Bible reading in public schools…even during free time, remove "In God We Trust" from our coins, and purge the words "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance. Hello. Does this disturb you? What kind of animal is this creature called ACLU? Currently, they have over 250,000 members who contend that their primary interest is upholding the Bill of Rights. In reality, they don’t have a clue regarding what the Bill of Rights is all about. The ACLU retains about seventy staff lawyers and 5,000 volunteer attorneys. They handle an average of 6,000 cases at any given time. Their annual budget is over fourteen million dollars which is funded by several millionaires who are also hell-bent on destroying American families and Christian values. (Part 3 will follow)
