The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) (Part 6)

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) (Part 6)
By Tommy Franks

When the fifty states came into the Union, they all believed in a Supreme Being, namely God…the God of our forefathers…not the god of Islam. Read on…

In 1901, the Alabama Preamble invoked the favor and guidance of Almighty God.
In 1956, the Alaska Preamble talked about being grateful to God and to those who founded our nation.
In 1911, the Arizona Preamble talked about being grateful to Almighty God for their liberties and Constitution.
In 1874, the Arkansas Preamble talked about being grateful to Almighty God for the privilege of choosing their own form of government. In 1879, the California Preamble talked about being grateful to Almighty God for their freedom.
In 1876, the Colorado Preamble stated that they had profound reverence for the Supreme Ruler of Universe.
In 1818, the Connecticut Preamble acknowledged with gratitude the good Providence of God in permitting them the privilege to enjoy.
In 1897, the Delaware Preamble declared that all men have Divine Goodness by nature…the rights to worship…and serve their Creator according to the dictates of their consciences.
In 1885, the Florida Preamble stated that they were grateful to Almighty God for their constitutional liberty…in establishing their Constitution.
Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, and the remainder of the 50 states all acknowledged Almighty God for their freedom and blessings.

After acknowledgments of God from all 50 states, fair-minded readers must come to the conclusion and consensus that the ACLU and our power-drunk federal judges are just plain wrong on the issue of God in public life. The US Supreme Court displays God’s Ten Commandments. Congressional sessions are opened with prayer. Our President is sworn in with his hand on a Bible. On the other hand, the ACLU goes to court to have children suspended from their schools for reading the Bible on their lunch break. Something stinks in America. The stench can be tracked directly to the ACLU! They are openly anti-religion, specifically against the Judeo-Christian religion and values. (Part 7 will follow.)
